SJB Photography started from humble beginnings.
A photography enthusiast from a young age, I never pursued my interest, instead focusing on working and a science degree which was never finished.
One day way back in 2011, I attended a friends wedding and was asked if I could grab a few candid shots of their friends and family throughout the day and the reception using the grooms camera. I had a ball and with the help of one of the lovely professional photographers who caught me fiddling with the grooms DSLR settings with no idea what I was doing, I managed to grab a few lovely snapshots that almost rivaled the professional's ones!
Hilariously enough, my brother caught me editing the photos and dobbed me into a friend who desperately needed a photographer for her wedding and despite my protests, I ended up with a second wedding under my belt and didn't even OWN a DSLR!
From there my ex-husband (rather foolishly) fed my love for photography and set me up with a camera to use for in-house real estate photography in my admin role with Goldfields Realty.
Fast forward a year or so later, my son's birth saw me working from home with more time to play with my camera and an outlet to share the images whilst working for Everything Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Suddenly I was being approached by friends asking if I could do family portraits for them and in 2014 SJB photography was born!

SJB Photography is here to capture those moments with your furred friends for you to cherish forever!
SJB Photography also works closely with the RSPCA Kalgoorlie Auxiliary to help homeless animals find their furever homes.
Any pets adopted through the RSPCA Kalgoorlie Auxiliary receive a 15% discount on any pet photography with SJB photography within the 1st year of adoption.
MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY
SJB Photography also offers affordable Maternity Photography to capture those precious memories as you await your bundle of joy.
With Sarah also being a facepainter, SJB photography offers the unique opportunity to have your belly painted with a special design, immortalized in keepsake images.
